Women's Conference

Something else that I really liked about what the temple worker was saying about how everything in a temple is symbolic. The thing I remember most is when he was talking about the stained glass windows. I have been to the temple tons of times and I didn't even notice them. The windows start at the bottom with brown and red colors. Then they keep changing as you move up until at the top the colors are really light blue and white. The interesting thing is that he never told us what anything was symbolic of. Being there was such a great experience though!
Today was the second part of Women's Conference. It was so wonderful! First we had a stake relief society brunch. It was really nice to sit with the women in relief society and just visit. Then there was a a program afterwards. It was full of great relief society stories from the past. It started with a story that my mom was a part of. She helped act it out is what I mean. It was the time that the Kirtland Ohio temple was being built and how the women were asked to sacrafice their fine china to help with the building. In the story, my mom played the part of the women who had sacraficed these dishes that had belonged to her Grandmother. My Mom acted this part out so well. All of the stories and songs were acted out so well too.
It's been a fabulous weekend!
